Calling All Parrotheads, Jimmy's Back On The Road
Margaritaville hitmaker Jimmy Buffett successfully parlayed his laid back beach-loving persona into a fully fledged business empire, expanding from music-making to clothing, nightclubs and even literature over the course of his five decade-long career. If you're a parrothead, or even a casual fan, its time to don your panama hat and get ready to sail away on some groovy music because Buffett and his band are docking at venues all over North America on the Son of a Son of a Sailor High Tide Tour.
Born and raised in Mississippi, Buffett moved to try his hand at country music in the late 60s, but after a second relocation to Key West, truly found himself in the tropical folk-rock that would define his prolific style. Fusing calypso beats with easy listening arrangements and pop melodies, Buffett's easy-going, jovial and feel-good tunes like Come Monday and Cheeseburger in Paradise translate to a Mardi Gras-like atmosphere on stage.
